Red Ribbon Club is a movement started by the Government of India in schools and colleges through which, students will spread awareness over HIV / AIDS. It envisages to instil charity mind among all the students to extend their able help towards developing healthy life styles, donating blood to all the needy by promotion of Regular voluntary blood donation.
The club aims at providing awareness about HIV and to promote voluntary blood donation among students.The club also facilitates in conducting activities to make the student community aware about AIDS and its psycho-social impacts. We strive to create more voluntary blood donors from our institution through committed activities.

An HIV/AIDS Awareness Class was organized by the Red Ribbon Club of Nasra College of Arts and Science, in association with the NSS, on 09/02/26 at 2.00 PM in the Seminar Hall.The programme began with a warm welcome by Kavya, Red Ribbon Club Coordinator. The session was formally inaugurated by the Principal, Dr. P. Zubair, who highlighted the importance of awareness and responsible behaviour in preventing HIV/AIDS, especially among young people.The dignitaries were felicitated by the Vice Principal, Ayisha Jamseera, NSS Programme Coordinator, Ranjith, and the Union Chairperson, Hiba.The awareness class was handled by Ms. Neethu Jose, ICTC Counsellor, D.H. Perinthalmanna. The resource person delivered an informative and engaging session on HIV/AIDS, covering its causes, modes of transmission, prevention methods, and the importance of early testing and counselling. The class helped to clear common misconceptions and encouraged students to adopt a healthy and responsible lifestyle.The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Archana, NSS Volunteer, expressing gratitude to the resource person, dignitaries, organizers, and participants for making the programme a success.The session was highly informative and created greater awareness among students about HIV/AIDS and the role of youth in building a healthy and stigma-free society.
